This course stresses accuracy in grammar and vocabulary when describing, narrating and explaining, supporting an opinion and hypothesizing, and expressing needs, hopes, and wishes. You will put your verbal skills to use in role-plays etc., and in scenarios that involve unexpected complications and call upon you to resolve them with well-chosen language. Throughout the course, attention is given to factors that promote accurate and intelligible pronunciation. Emphasis will also be placed on expanding vocabulary and developing the ability to read different articles from newspapers, books and magazines.
