Academic Coordinators

As an Academic Coordinator you will represent the academic needs of all students. You’ll be responsible for all stages of student assessment and carefully evaluate and report student growth and progress. You will provide appropriate support, information and advice to students on learning matters relevant to their study of the English language. You will org anise and manage students and teachers in order that the purposes of instruction are promoted and can be achieved; including ensuring that teachers are well trained and that only the teaching system is taught within schools. In addition, you will need to host Parent’s Day events and ensure you have an ongoing conversation with parents and employers about student progress.

(Full Time & Part Time)

As a teacher, your work will involve teaching contact with children. Typically, you will teach private and semiprivate classes of 4 children aged between 3 and 18 years old. If you’re able to teach adult learners in either a private or a corporate setting, you will teach up to 10 students at a time.

Unlike 99% of our competitors, we don’t want or expect you to prepare any lesson content, lesson or teaching plans. In fact, we’ve done it all that for you. We’ve spent HK$12 million developing a proprietary teaching system and over 500 lesson books (each with detailed teaching notes) so you don’t have to spend any time at all writing your own lesson content and plans. You will however be contractually required to rigidly adhere to our teaching system. This means you must teach only our curriculum and you must teach it exactly in the way we require. Our teaching system and methodology creates consistent results across our network of schools and student base. You will also be expected to monitor and report on student performance, attend occasional academic and parental meetings as well as company events.

Our teachers work on either a fulltime or part-time basis. A part-time teacher may be required to teach for up to 18 hours per week with a very large proportion of their teaching hours occurring on Saturdays. A full time teacher will be contracted for 12 months and will need to teach 30 hours per week. A full time teacher will teach Monday – Saturday.

School Managers & Assistant School Managers

As a School Manager or Assistant School Manager, you will manage the Schools. You will safeguard the interest of students, customers, staff and visitors. You will be the student and parent’s first point of contact and will need to be an excellent communicator. You will also need to be a good organiser because you will need to ensure that students and teachers are in the correct classes. You will also maintain a purposeful, orderly, attractive, pleasant and healthy school and classroom environment. In addition, you will collect fees, issue invoices and receipts to customers and input information into company databases and school timetables.
