Dear Parents,
We are OPEN as NORMAL.
The health of our students, parents and staff is our absolute priority.
We
already maintain a safe learning environment and teach our students in
very small classes (one teacher for four students, or less). Our
students are also taught in three separate locations. |
However,
since Thursday 11th June 2009, we have implemented the same measures we
deployed during SARS in 2003 and again during the Influenza
scare in 2008:
1. We will do everything possible to maintain a healthy environment for students, parents and staff.
2. We will sanitize our centres & classrooms daily.
3. We will provide surgical masks for use in our centres.
4.
We will ask students, teachers & staff that don't feel well to stay
at home (as is our usual practice under make-up class policy).
5. We will take the temperatures of everyone entering all of the RTL premises and ask for your cooperation in this.
These
measures enabled our students to continue their learning throughout the
SARS and again in 2008 and achieve excellent results in school/language
tests later in the year.
We fully expect a similar outcome this time around.
